Located at Peru’s northern coast, with arid desert landscape and pronounced social precariousness. The project’s layout proposes recreational spaces between classrooms by building sun protection porches using local and recycled materials.

During the design and construction phases, the community was fully involved in participatory design processes and collective community based work generating greater project ownership.
