The Riberalta Urban Agenda is a UN-Habitat initiative, leaded by the local government to develop a strategic urban plan with the participation of the most relevant community stakeholders. The tool reflects on long term sustainable development for a strategic city located in the northern Bolivian Amazon, with emphasis in urban planning, gender equality, cultural development, urban mobility and economic development based in Amazonian products. Also, the instrument advocates for good urban practices in order to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals and implement the New Urban Agenda.
